Transport for London (TfL) is installing six VivaCity sensors on Tulse Hill’s gyratory as part of its Healthy Streets initiative.
The sensors will commence data recording in September for an initial six-month period. A feasibility study will follow, taking nine to twelve months.
Update: 7th October 2026
The sensors have been installed and were due to start capturing data from 1st September, but this has been delayed, and we are awaiting an update from TfL.
TfL’s proposal states that the “primary objective of this project is to develop a robust, data-driven evidence base to ensure that future design intervention decisions for the gyratory are informed by up-to-date and accurate.
