Local elections, when we vote for our chosen candidates who are standing for positions as our representativs on Lambeth Council, are on Thursday 7 May 2026.
It includes the St Martin’s ward in which the Tulse Hill gyratory is located. The current councillors in the ward, Olga FitzRoy and Saleha Jaffer, who have supported our campaign, are not standing again, so there will be new councillors on this ward.
Norwood Forum is holding a public meeting (‘hustings’) for the St Martin’s ward, as well as a number of other wards across the borough. Herne Hill Forum are also organising hustings locally.
With over 1100 people having signed the Transform Tulse Hill petition calling for action on the gyratory, this is your opportunity to have your voice heard. We encourage all those who support the aims of the campaign to attend.
The hustings are your chance to hear the views and priorities of our potential new local councillors. It’s also a chance to ask them questions about the gyratory and other local matters.
Transform Tulse Hill will be submitting questions related to the gyratory for each husting, but the more questions that are asked by attendees the better. You can submit questions now and up to 12noon on the day of each meeting from the Norwood Forum website.
A full list of candidates for each of the wards will be published on Friday 10 April. All prospective candidates will be invited to speak at these hustings.
